Pete began Electronic Media Design to develop websites, design business cards and marketing literature, photo editing, and other graphic design needs for friends, family, and the occasional customer. Pete has held a high interest in the Internet and online content since 1996, where he developed his design skills from his technical writing career that involved researching and writing instructions for service manuals, creating graphical illustrations, and developing technical documentation and training content.
Over the years, his interest grew and evolved into web development, information architecture, and graphic design. Years of experience provided him with a vast knowledge of content development and was the catalyst for him to start Electronic Media Design.
In January 2005, Pete started up his business and focused on small local businesses help people get their business on the Internet. Several years passed. His technical writing and graphic design skills evolved into instructional design and multimedia content development. With that evolution, he refocused his business to what he enjoys the most: the design, structure, and presentation of content. Content includes front end web design, graphic design, business and medical forms, training, and multimedia development.
