If you are start building a new web site, I encourage you to go with a responsive design. As more and more mobile devices access content these days, your web site is likely going to be viewed by a mobile device. Here is one example of how I use a responsive web site.
I use responsive eLearning when I’m in the middle of development, and I need access to certain information. As I develop a project on my Laptop or Mac, I login to my eLearning course and find what I need at that time.
Usually when I have more time on my hands or when I relax on the deck, I use the iPad to consume those same eLearning materials. I can continue with the same course on different devices and experience the same learning environment. I like the freedom of not being tethered to the PC. Especially when I want only to review some content or learn a new skill. Mobile learning also encourages me to take another course than read Internet news.
